I've Just Got A New Topic
So I sign into Windows Live Messenger and Eric (my friend) starts up a chat with me. I won't get into any details (not yet), but it was the most crazy, sick and weird conversation I had ever had in my life. So I'm going to give you the topic of this post, thanks to what I was talking about with Eric in the conversation. The topic of this post is sex. So if you're young, then please don't read this.
It All Started Like This
Now before you start thinking, "This guy (me) is SICK." please understand that I'm not going to actually talk about sex, but more of what's happening in the internet. So if I were to rephrase the topic for you, I would say how
"hookup" sites are abusing the internet's power.
Anyways, back to the main story. Eric started up a chat with me (which was quite unusual). So after that I started to realize what was happening. SOMEBODY from a hookup (and by a hookup site, I mean a site that scams people and pretend they provide sex) site had hacked into Eric's account and was running it crazy. The hacker had changed Eric's profile picture to a naked lady and had changed his status to "lovin this site http://www.just4hookup.com".
So I keep on talking (just to test it out and make sure Eric wasn't playing a joke). But as I kept on talking, I realized that Eric wasn't there. Here's a link to download all the stuff that went down.
Just click anywhere on this line!
Point Is...
The point is that the internet is a dangerous place. There are numerous hookup sites on the internet and you have to be careful not to stray too far from your "usual" sites. It's really scary what can happen to you on the internet.
That's Part One
I'll probably end up with about five parts in the end of this extravaganza, but oh well. I hope that you... Ummm... I won't say enjoyed because that would sound weird... So I'll just say that I hope that you found this topic interesting and you thought about it.
Today I'm a 9 because nothing extremely good happened, but then again, I have a lot of homework to do. I better get started. See you guys next post!
yep he did that to a friend of mine it s a BOT that will chat with you the moment you come online.....
ReplyDeleteYeah, this type of stuff happens much too often these days.

My friend is having this problem as well,so when i seek for solution i go into this webpage XD
ReplyDeleteThis post isn't really a help post, but some solutions that you can do to prevent this from happening is to change your email passwords monthly.
DeleteKeep on visiting!
but did you know where this BOT is placed ? because the original pc is switched off, I am just on a BB and I just changed my password ...
ReplyDeleteThis bot isn't place ANYWHERE. The account holder's computer doesn't necessarily need to be on to be hacked.
DeleteKeep on visiting!
the problem is that I just changed the password and it seems they stole it again ...
ReplyDeleteWell, it's tough if your account has already been hacked. The best thing you can probably do is tell all of your contacts that your email has been hacked and that they will probably receive these types of messages.

Had the same issue. Some of my contacts was writing me and had a naked woman as picture (which she never used before) and also her email wasn't "verfied" So she started to talk to me. Like "Where are you from" and later there came posts like "i just uploaded new sexy pictures of me" register at the site. And since i know these kind of notices from other sites (Bots) i didn't then she asked if i already made an account and i said "no and i won't make one" and since then she never replied again.
ReplyDeleteYou should definitely avoid talking to the person. A friend of mine got a virus from this bot and you should immediately block the hacked contact if they start a chat with you.

lol i love talking to these bots... its mindlessly entertaining
ReplyDeleteSame thing happened to me tonight - FACEBOOK ( Pretoria ) South Africa
DeleteI have changed the names to protect my friends

I am also married - and reading your wall says you are very much in love with your husband.
did u make ur account??.
you can message them to me here.
I'm 24.
what made you contact me yes you are attractive lets get together sometime are you on Blackberry now you not chatting any longer
I have to admit that talking to the bot was quite "interesting", but you probably shouldn't talk to them. There's a good chance of getting your computer infected with a virus if you do.

I'm no internet safety/technology buff - how does one get hacked in the first place?
ReplyDeleteWell, there are many different ways of being hacked. Most of them can be avoided, but some cannot. To make sure you're not hacked, you should never have auto fill turned on in your browser, never use the same password for multiple accounts for different things, don't use common passwords and you should always make sure that you have logged out.
DeleteKeep on visiting!
Also was getting messages from this bot. One gets an msn account hacked by either logging onto msn with an infected computer, or by getting "phished" (look it up).
ReplyDeleteMore to the point. I was impressed with the chatbot itself. Anybody know where to find the software?
That's also another way that you can get hacked. There are a lot of bots like this out there and the software is illegal if you use it and violate the terms of service. However, if you're using it for something else (a website, service or anything like that), then it's perfectly fine.

Mmh, hag some experience with the same bot. Doesn't seeme to be very well programmed, has just 2 answers to the question if he/she/it is a bot.
ReplyDeleteFor seeing a part of my conversation:
http://pastebin.com/wHv4cuCV
Seems like the same bot or the same "company" is going around sending these messages. Hopefully they'll stop or someone will find a solution to it.

Anyone have a solution to solve this MSN trouble?
ReplyDeleteDo we need to delete our windows live account and create a new one?
No, you don't NEED to delete your Windows Live account and create a new one. The problem kind of resolves itself. You see, my friend that got hacked finally went on his account and suddenly the whole bot thing stopped. He said something about changing his password and so and so.
DeleteIf you have a friend who is being hacked, the first thing you can do is just tell him about that and if the bot keeps talking to you, you can eventually block the bot contact.

Hello guys. Sorry I can not speak English. I used the google translator. Even happened to me the same phenomenon. The content and almost the same. The writing in purple. The (K) is the same. Yesterday he called me and I closed.
ReplyDeleteToday he called the same.
Cracker may be, Lammer.
He is still connected, available. It looks like a hibernating Wraith XD
They want to put us in conflict against each other (with friends). Or an attack against the msn ... , Or are testing the trial Artificial Intelligent ...
We call the Winchester brothers Supernatural, this paranormal phenomenon that is invading XD

ciao ragazzi . Scusate io non so parlare inglese.
,O stanno testando in prova l'inteligenza artificiale ...
Chiamiamo i fratelli Winchester Supernatural , per questo fenomeno paranormale che ci sta invadendo XD

Well, it seems more often now that the bot is surely spreading to a lot of accounts.

I think I found what was happening...after I deleted my friend from my contacts the bot's name appeared as "Jenn Sxy", which I makes me believe that they hadn't actually hacked my friends account, just disguising as it.
ReplyDeleteWell, it kind of has to be your friend's account. The bot can change your friend appearance name to ANYTHING. In your case, this is what happened. A bot hacked your friend's account, changed the appearance name to "Jenn Sxy" and then proceeded to a conversation with you.
DeleteThe only way that a bot can really have a completely different Windows Live account is if you added them as another user who you didn't know.
So I would say that your friend's account was hacked.

Hi guys...
ReplyDeleteI've got the same problem...have u got a solution 4 it???
As I have said before, the first thing you can do is to block the contact and inform the account holder that he/she has been hacked. If the bot keeps on talking to you, you can report the account or tell your friend to change his account credentials.
DeleteIf YOU'RE the one that is being hacked, then you should first log into your account and change back all your personal information back to the way it was (your appearance name, your profile picture) and if the bot hacks back in, you should change your account credentials.

I'm from the netherlands and my englisch is not so good.
ReplyDeleteI have the same problem to.
I changed my password but nothing helps.
Then I also changed the name andremove the message: just uploaded new pics http://www.just4hookup.com/albums/wp1d7m
But when I logged out and then logged in it also changed in "Jenn Sxy"
OKAY. It seems more probable that just logging in and changing everything back to what it was won't work against the bots, so the next step you can do is change your account email to something else and change your password.

My friend's been hacked too! with that same name, "Jenn Sexy" . I clearly said she was a spammer, but her response was "nah, i am a vegetarian... no spam for me! haha" and the most ironic thing, my friend that got hacked, it was a guy's account! lol! but she said "im sure it's random to say this to you, but apparently my ASShole ex-man fucked my roomate so I'm on a MANhunt and im looking online for boys that would like dating a nympho...you know what a nymphomaniac is right??"... and thats where i was like wtf? never clicked on any links or anything.. she tried talking to me again, and i said "go away you nasty whore!" and she finally left me alone. hahaha!!! and now shes blocked. what a good day it has been now :)
Delete((btw, I'm Katie, not to get confused with this other person who's also Anonymous. just dont want people to track my name and find what ive written here, hence Anonymous..lol. but i had to share my story since I was puzzled and wanted to make sure if this was a true spam or if it could have been his exgf or something, but i smell SPAM!!! lol))
now for the second time I have changed the name and remove the message in my msn name, Logged out and logged in and it changed now in "Jennifer Sexy12" with the link in the message.
ReplyDeleteThis is so annoying!!
yeah....that's true.... is not my problem to be onest, but my girlfriend has it! Even if she logs out, i can see from my computer that the account "Jen sexy" is still online!...with the link in the message.
DeleteWe also changed the password...but it doesn't work!
Honestly...I don't know what to do....
(I'm from Italy by the way) :)
Okay. You've already changed your personal information, so the second step you can take is to change your email account (example@hotmail.com) and your password. If you've only changed the password, but not the email account, you should do that. Keep me posted on what's happening.
DeleteKeep on visiting!
Hola, alguien lo pudo solucionar, me pasa lo mismo, que hay que hacer?
ReplyDeleteFirst of all you can change all your personal information (name, profile picture and so and so) and if that doesn't work then you should change your email account and your password.
DeleteKeep on visiting!
Hi Kevin,
ReplyDeleteYou're blog was the closest I got to a fix.
I changed my password multiple times but had no joy... My machine was not compromised and there was no logic as to how my account was hacked.
I haven't had the problem now for over a day which is great! What I did was:
1) Change password
2) Change passport ID (gmail allows multiple dots in the name so what I did was change from my.name@gmail.com to my.na.me@gmail.com or change to a new email address) you can do this via your msn passport account.
3) Change password again
The process of changing the passport ID seems to boot the other person/bot off the account properly. Cross fingers it won't come back. This method lets you keep your contact list as well which is really nice :)
Hey there! It's nice to know that people are visiting my blog and are using my REAL name (thanks =P).
DeleteGood job on getting rid of the bot. I think that the REAL problem was that the person was just using the username to hack in. Keep me posted on this and let's see if we've got a solution on our hands.
