Pulling An All Nighter

Happy New Years!

It's only about an hour before 2012 is here and I'm immensely excited not only because a new year is coming, but I'm doing something much more than just waiting until the clock hits 12:00 and then when we start celebrating and blowing sound makers (not that I do...). Keep on reading to find out. =D

I'm Going All Night

Anyways, this year I'm aiming to make the first night of 2012 a weird and cool one by staying up all night and not sleeping for about a total of 48 hours. But I'm not doing this alone (it would be kind of stupid and scary) as my friends Phillip, Angelo and some other dudes will be accompanying me on this epic journey.

But how will I have proof that I've stayed up all night? Well, for one thing, you can ask my friends, who will ALL be in one huge Skype conversation OR you can also check out my newest page called The 2012 All Nighter. It will be a minute by minute recorded journal of what I did in the 9 hours that I was awake in the night. Can't wait.

Swimming And Grocery Shopping

Today I had an AWESOME day with Alec, Lina and my brother as USUAL. First of all we went swimming and we had loads of fun there because Alec kept on tossing Raymond's watch down in the deep end of the pool and then we had to go get his watch and by doing so also learning how to dive.

AFTER that we headed out to the grocery store to go buy stuff to make PIZZA. And PUMPKIN PIE. And BANANA CAKE. You can see why I had so much fun now. Anyways, I was at the store in the dairy section looking for some unsalted butter (oh, FANCY =P) and then I saw the coolest thing.

I WANT one of those things. There was just this little kid and his mom and they were walking and THERE IT WAS. The shopper in training shopping cart (seriously, there was a pole with a flag on top that read "Shopper in training"). And it ACTUALLY could CARRY stuff. It was the coolest thing ever and I really wish I had one of those things when I was a kid.

Of course, I'm still a kid.

Now For The Pizza, Pumpkin Pie And Banana Cake

So we went home with all the stuff and we immediately started working on the baking. First we started working on the Banana Cake (well, we actually did all recipes sort of at the same time) and then we made the pizza and we ended up making the pumpkin pie last.

It took a fudge load of time to cook all that fudge.

Anyways, last time we made pumpkin pie, it was just HORRIBLE. Literally NOBODY could eat it. We had replaced the cream fraiche (WHERE THE FUDGE DO YOU FIND IT?!) with some sour cream and it was just bad.

So THIS time we STILL couldn't find any cream fraiche and we just replaced it with whipping cream!

It was A LOT better than the sour cream replacement.

I regret not taking any pictures of the food.

Well, See You Guys Later

It's getting a BIT late now (although that is not really useful info), so I'm going to head in for... Well, not bed. Today I'm a definite 10 because I made loads of delicious stuff. That's it. No. I would be a 10 anyways. =D

Today. Was. AWESOME.

First Of All...

Yesterday I wrote up a lot of stuff to put in a post, but I found out that I already had a post on that day, so I didn't necessarily need one. So here's what I had to say yesterday.

Sleep Over

Two days ago I had a really awesome sleep over at my grandma's house and I'm looking forward to another one. Essentially what we did was have five people sleep in two beds and I don't know if Lina and Alec had trouble sleeping in the other bed, but Michael, Raymond and I were incredibly squished, hot and many more uncomfortable adjectives could be used, but I'll just stop there. Anyways, I woke up in the morning in an extremely awkward position and I probably was upside down one point in the night.

Before we had gone to sleep though, we had played a rousing game of Hearts (which is kind of becoming our usual card game) and there was a lot of funniness when we all started to go to bed.

The Last Two Weeks Have Been Brilliant

My whole winter break was just awesome thanks to my cousins, my brothers and friends I've come to know over the break. The time I've spent with them have been really cool to me and I'm really sad that the break is almost over and that Alec has to leave for the States once again on January 16, 2012. That's why I've amassed together all the great times that we've had just in the two weeks and not the three years that I've known Alec or the lifetime that I've known my cousins and family.

Here's what we did for the whole break. We
- shot people with lazer guns
- baked a fudge load of cookies
- slept over in the same room
- went swimming
- went shopping
- played Hearts
- played Settlers Of Catan
- played some sort of foreign card game
- played Small World
- played Pig (or Donkey)
- helped out each other
- had FUN

Enough Of Yesterday, Time For Today

So today I had loads of fun too (as you can probably infer from the title). In the morning, I found out that I was going swimming again and this time I kind of actually looked forward to it. The last time I had gone swimming, Alec had tried to teach me how to dive and I have to say that I really like "diving". Anyways, after we finished swimming, we just hung out at my cousin's place (by cousin's place I mean the upstairs of my grandma's place) for a bit before Alec, Lina and Michael headed out to get Lina's graduation picture taken. So we (my brother and I) ended up watching Supah Ninjas (weird show) until around 5:00PM when they came back. With friends.

Now I have always been damn nervous around new people, but they weren't exactly new people. I knew Martin and Katie, but Katie's boyfriend I didn't know and I met him today. They were all really cool people and I had loads of fun playing new games with them (we just played Settlers (short for Settlers Of Catan), Hearts, a new game called Pig (or Donkey) and Small World).

I just love spending time at my cousin's place.

Well, I Don't Have Much Else To Give You Now

Today I had loads of fun and as usual, I'm a 10. Life is great now and it's really saddening that life will resume it's regular course when school comes back and Alec leaves.

Oh well. As my friend who I talk to a lot says, "You've just got to live the moment."

Just A Little Note

I'm just saying that I'm not continuing labels in the blog since it will be easier for people to search up posts instead of looking in labels and it's very hard to sort out which posts go into which label since I've already gone so far into this blog.

Well, Relatives Will Be Reading This... So... Go Ahead...

Note To All Peeps

So it's about 1:00AM in the morning and I'm posting this. I had a pretty busy day doing fun things, so I was unable to get a post up before 12:00 midnight. Oh well. I'll just add onto this post later in the day if I really have anything important to say.

Welcome To My Blog Peeps Who Are My Relatives

My blog is now being spread throughout my family (although it was originally my idea to keep this as a secret from my family =P) and I find that I will at least have to be much careful of what I do these days (more of what I say these days). Anyways, I just wanted to give a warm welcome to the new comers of the blog and hopefully you will enjoy my life in my view.

Pew Pew Pew

As in pew, I don't mean the definition of pew as in "a long bench with a back, placed in rows in the main part of some churches to seat the congregation" but pew as in the sound of a lazer gun being shot in an awesome game of lazer tag. Yes, today I was playing lazer tag with the usual peeps (Alec, Lina and Raymond) at Planet Lazer and it was an EPIC game. We had loads of fun playing and it was our first time in a while for all of us. At the end of the game I grabbed second and that was a lot better than my first attempt at playing lazer tag (I got like last the first time).

What Else Happened Today?

Although today was not the absolute best day of my life, it was one that I will be sure to remember. First of all, I went lazer tagging and second of all, I went with the gang to go pick up Michael (my cousin) from his eight day long vacation at Disneyland in LA and it was a pretty cool adventure (the trip was cool, but waiting at the airport was kind of boring).

It was fun though and that's what counts. Welcome home Mikey.

I've Been Procrastinating On Updating The Blog

I know I promised some updates on the blog, but I just haven't been able to set aside much time from my "busy" schedule to work on this blog. Eventually though I will be able to update the blog and reorganize the blog label wise.

See You Next Post

Thanks for reading today's post, I hope that you'll subscribe to my blog (just helps me make sure that SOMEBODY out there is reading this) and I'll either have more up in this post (if anything else happens) or I'll just see the rest of you peeps in the next entry.

I'm a 10 today because it was a GREAT day and I'm always usually a 10. I'm essentially multitasking right now and I'm playing Hearts (really epic card game) and also working on my blog.

A Pet Fish And Swimming

Welcome Home Tony

For our Christmas present (my brother and I) we got a cool betta named Tony (don't ask me where the name came from) from Lina and Alec. It's awesome and we finally get another pet.

I never knew this, but fish (well, at least betta) have a strict feeding schedule. If you feed too much, it will over grow and die and if you feed too less, it will just starve. So we've come up with the schedule of feeding it 4 pellets in the morning and 3 in the evening.

Say hello to your new home Tony. =D

I've Been Swimming A Lot Lately...

I guess it's just because I didn't really know how to swim that I didn't want to go swim, but now that I do and I can probably last a while out in the ocean if I ever need to, I just go for fun.

Today I did go swimming again with Lina, Alec and Raymond and I have to admit it was at least interesting. For most of the time we went swimming, we just played and tossed a ball around. At the end, it got quite fun and Alec tried to teach us how to dive (still getting to learn how to).

Canucks Down The Oilers 5 - 3

Yesterday in a boxing day NHL game, the Canucks dominated the Oilers in a 5 - 3 final in Edmonton (also coincidentally where the IIHF Junior Canada VS Finland game was also held). The game was pretty cool (didn't actually watch it) and I just wanted to say the final score (For the Canada VS Finland game, Canada won like 8 - 1). Oh well. Go Canucks.

That's It For Today

There's nothing else to post about, so I'll just go and play a new game I've discovered (it's called SAS Zombie Assault 3). Thanks for reading this post (I won't be posting a horoscope today though), subscribe to my blog for more and I'll see you in the next post (where I'll be blogging about lazer tag). Oh yah. Here's my number of the day.

Today I'm an absolute 10 because today was a nice day. I went swimming, got a new pal, had some pizza and played Settlers Of Catan with my usual peeps. I'm also getting my new laptop shipped to me (should be hear in a few days) and that puts me in a good spot already.

Life Just Possibly Can't Get More Advanced

Life As We Know It... Is Already... Advanced

Have you ever thought about the things that you use daily? The toaster, your computer, the TV. When you think about these things, you think there is no way that life can get any more advanced than it already is. Or can it? Life before was way less advanced than today's life. Did the people in the past think that life would be any more advanced? And do we think it can get more advanced. It's hard to imagine a future exactly like this and yet it's hard to imagine a future where everything is made out of some sort of shiny sleek metal, as most shows, movies and basically anything portray. Oh well.

Getting A New Laptop

Today I'm going to go buy a laptop with my dad as a belated birthday present (WAY too belated). After some consideration (it's my first time buying a computer), I decided to go with an awesome brand (my cousin has one of these), Lenovo. They have really good computers, look nice, have the most epic keyboard and track pad and in my cousin's model, even has finger print identity and face recognition (both which you can use (along with the password) to login to your computer).

Here's a little video for all you peeps who are wondering what the fudge "face recognition" means.

Don't Really Have Anything Else To Talk About...

I usually don't edit my posts or add anything later in the day, but who knows? Something fun may happen later. It's only like 3:00PM.

I think it's a bit too early to judge my day from here and pick my number, but for now I'm a 10 because of the new laptop and that's essentially it. My brother is off at his friend's birthday party, so I'm basically going to be hanging out with Lina and Alec. Thanks for reading this post, subscribe (it's just to the left peeps) and maybe I'll add to this later, but maybe not.

And here's another horoscope, just for fun.

"Here's a day when some long-awaited attention or recognition comes your way. You're finished with the hassles you experienced during the past month and have entered a calmer period. Those who could recently only criticize can't find enough words to praise you. Take the compliments at face value. There's nothing wrong with being happy with yourself." - Horoscope.com

OF COURSE long-awaited attention or recognition will come your way. It always does. Everybody has hassles and in one point of the day, you ALWAYS feel completely calm. For the part that said "Those who could recently only criticize can't find enough words to praise you." maybe the person that decided to criticize was in a bad mood and now they were in a better mood. I ALWAYS take my compliments at face value (to be honest, I don't really know what that exactly means...) and of course, every horoscope ends with something that is morally right. Yesterday it was "Follow your heart." and today it's "There's nothing wrong with being happy with yourself." The last sentence is always ridiculous. It's just something you should always do. Well, that's it for today's horoscope rage.

Bessie Braddock: "Sir you are drunk."
Winston Churchill: "Madam, you are ugly. In the morning, I shall be sober."

NOTE. I've scanned through various versions of this quote and this one seems to be the best. However, I do like to add my own variations to quotes, but this variation is simply just an add on to explain the quote or further enhance it. I'm also not sure if the madam who was in this quote was Bessie Braddock.

Bessie Braddock: "Sir you are drunk."
Winston Churchill: "Madam, you are ugly. In the morning, I shall be sober, but you will still be ugly."
