It's only about an hour before 2012 is here and I'm immensely excited not only because a new year is coming, but I'm doing something much more than just waiting until the clock hits 12:00 and then when we start celebrating and blowing sound makers (not that I do...). Keep on reading to find out. =D
Anyways, this year I'm aiming to make the first night of 2012 a weird and cool one by staying up all night and not sleeping for about a total of 48 hours. But I'm not doing this alone (it would be kind of stupid and scary) as my friends Phillip, Angelo and some other dudes will be accompanying me on this epic journey.
But how will I have proof that I've stayed up all night? Well, for one thing, you can ask my friends, who will ALL be in one huge Skype conversation OR you can also check out my newest page called The 2012 All Nighter. It will be a minute by minute recorded journal of what I did in the 9 hours that I was awake in the night. Can't wait.
Swimming And Grocery Shopping
Today I had an AWESOME day with Alec, Lina and my brother as USUAL. First of all we went swimming and we had loads of fun there because Alec kept on tossing Raymond's watch down in the deep end of the pool and then we had to go get his watch and by doing so also learning how to dive.
AFTER that we headed out to the grocery store to go buy stuff to make PIZZA. And PUMPKIN PIE. And BANANA CAKE. You can see why I had so much fun now. Anyways, I was at the store in the dairy section looking for some unsalted butter (oh, FANCY =P) and then I saw the coolest thing.
I WANT one of those things. There was just this little kid and his mom and they were walking and THERE IT WAS. The shopper in training shopping cart (seriously, there was a pole with a flag on top that read "Shopper in training"). And it ACTUALLY could CARRY stuff. It was the coolest thing ever and I really wish I had one of those things when I was a kid.
Of course, I'm still a kid.
Now For The Pizza, Pumpkin Pie And Banana Cake
So we went home with all the stuff and we immediately started working on the baking. First we started working on the Banana Cake (well, we actually did all recipes sort of at the same time) and then we made the pizza and we ended up making the pumpkin pie last.
It took a fudge load of time to cook all that fudge.
Anyways, last time we made pumpkin pie, it was just HORRIBLE. Literally NOBODY could eat it. We had replaced the cream fraiche (WHERE THE FUDGE DO YOU FIND IT?!) with some sour cream and it was just bad.
So THIS time we STILL couldn't find any cream fraiche and we just replaced it with whipping cream!
It was A LOT better than the sour cream replacement.
I regret not taking any pictures of the food.

It's getting a BIT late now (although that is not really useful info), so I'm going to head in for... Well, not bed. Today I'm a definite 10 because I made loads of delicious stuff. That's it. No. I would be a 10 anyways. =D
