A Few Achievements

This Blog Has Been Up For... 8 Months

You know, if I really wanted to be exact, my blog has been up since August 31, 2011 at 4:14PM. It's kind of amazing to see how I was blogging back then. I sounded pretty uncool and nervous about this whole thing and I was thinking about how I wouldn't get many visitors besides friends, but I guess that's still the case today.

So that's why I want to start like advertising or something like that. You know, just getting people to spread out the word. I know my blog doesn't really contain many meaningful things all the time (the reason why I'm starting a new blog about stuff that actually matters), but it would be nice to have some people who I don't know to visit my blog sometimes.

Anyways, point is, I want to have more people learn about Kevin. The REAL Kevin. Even if they have no idea who I am or even where Canada is, maybe it could be a learning experience.

Achievements

Well, I already noted that this blog has been up for about a month. I guess another achievement would be that this is the 126th post and that's pretty much a nice number to "brag" about. Ummm... the longest streak of consecutive days with a post daily is 31 days from this post to this post. I've got 50 comments up to today and 4842 page views in the history of this blog.

My most successful post has been this one with a huge number of views of 2396 (about half of my total, so that's amazing) and 38 comments. It's gone global and there was a time when the views just kept on rising, but things have slowed down now I guess.

I'm planning to break some of these records. Everyday that passes adds a day to my blog life and every post adds to the number of posts and I also get views everyday. I'm planning to break the post streak during this streak of... two days and I'm sure I'll get more comments in the future.

As for the most sucessful most thing, I don't think I'll be able to break that without the help of my friends spreading out the word (or if I ever talk with a bot again). I guess I'll still try.

Three Day Weekend

I can't wait for the first soccer practice and game on Saturday because, you know, I want to get my mind off things and get active again. Looking forward to a three day weekend (professional development day tomorrow) and going to A.R. Lord on Monday to watch something (kind of pissed because coincidentally we have P.E. on Friday and Monday).

A Splash In The Fish Bowl

Don't worry, it'll take you a while to find my newest blog on Google. I'm pretty sure that it's so insignificant in the world of websites and blogs that it'll probably be on around the last page. Anyways, the name of my new blog is A Splash In The Fish Bowl. It's a blog that I'm planning to use to raise awareness about issues in our modern world. I don't think it will ever become a real global wide blog that everybody knows, but then again, hard not to hope that it will.

IF you do happen to find it, then you'll get a good look at what the blog will probably look like when it's released.

Remember Guys, Keep Strong And Don't Give Up

You know what keeps me fuelled for this blog. It's not the fact that I have people reading it. It's the fact that it helps me calm down and think things over. It would be incredibly awesome if random people did read this blog and subscribed to it and followed it, but I write this blog not only for the viewers, but also for myself. I know, it sounds kind of weird... but it's true.

I'm looking back at this blog post and it kind of annoys me to see all these red squiggly lines (you know, for the auto correct?). I mean, blog and anyways are used so often that they SHOULD be words. Oh well.

Definitely excited for Game Five on Sunday. Canucks will be on the brink of elimination, but let's hope that the Canucks will play like how they did in Game Four and maybe LA will also be on the brink of elimination in a crazy comeback. So I'm a 10. I've been incredibly content and satisfied with my recent days. Maybe some greater power out there does pity me. Kevin is out of the house.
