My "Learnings" on Life

#29: Fashion

Sorry I don't fashion. We'll have to skip right onto #30, which is...

#30: What I have learned about life so far

I have to say that in my whole 15 years (and counting!) of life, I have learned... not a lot of stuff. Naturally there are a few things that I do know, but there's even more that I don't know and may never know. However I will diligently power through and try my absolute best to give you, the reader, any terrible lessons that I have on life.

It's okay to be embarrassed of things in the past. For example. when I was in grade one or two or something like that, I "challenged" one of the big kids to a race. I thought that I really could win, because, well I was fast for the kids in my class. Anyhow, we went to Rupert Park and had a small race around the playground boundary. He didn't let me win, and without saying he won. After the race I sat down on the ground panting and staring at the group of big kids that had accompanied him. I noticed a particular girl who I had a crush on (don't ask me) and I grew red, whispering under my breath that she was really pretty.

Tell the truth when it matters. A lot of the time it does matter, and you should not be actively trying to lie. There is one specific memory that I can recall, involving me and a very big problem. My cousin consulted me about the problem and I ended up lying. While everything worked out in the end, it felt as if I made things slightly more problematic by lying.

Don't get caught up in the moment. I believe a lot in the saying, "Take life as it comes at you." Sometimes I think ahead because it gives me a feeling of security, but for the most part I don't bother doing so. Of course, this applies to certain people, and I'm not saying it's a piece of advice that the general audience should take (hell, probably not even those certain people should listen to me).

Annnnnnnnnnd goodnight

That's all for tonight :) Goodnight whoever you are.

I'm an 8 tonight. Until next post.
