I'm Getting Really Bored These Days...
Most of the day I just lounge around on the floor or in a chair sitting with the iPad and just playing TapTap Revenge and frankly it's not fun anymore. School is gone and I seriously miss all my friends.
School is a HUGE part of my life and it's practically ESSENTIAL to me. There's like NOBODY to feel awkward around and to be like SUPER POLITE to. Most of the only time I spend with friends is when I talk to them on Skype or Windows Live Messenger (I don't use Facebook) and that doesn't really replace tapping them on the shoulder and annoying them every once and a while.
Oh well. Only like... Errr... How many days left before we go back to school? Jeez. Guess I forgot. There is one weird thing though that I have been noticing. When I WANT time to pass by quickly, it takes its time and just walks all the way to the finish, but when I want to FREEZE time and just stay in that frame of life forever, it passes as quick as it can. Weird.
Forgot To Mention Something Yesterday
Anyways, yesterday I was in a hurry to get to bed and I forgot to write about one more thing in yesterday's post.
Lately, I've been going swimming weekly and I even went swimming this Monday. After swimming for a while, I went to the hot tub to warm up and then eventually get out of the pool. While in the hot tub though, there was this little baby and his father and the baby kept on splashing his feet on the water and it was so funny and cool.
So I'm just smiling at the father and his baby and then the father says, "It's his first time here." and I nod, "That's great!" After a moment of silence, I say, "Is it yours too?" I still have to admit that was quite a weird question, but nevertheless, I asked it. The dad answered, "No." So we end up having quite a bit of a chat and I find out that the baby is 18 months old (never did find out his name) and that the dad was just taking him out for the first time in a long time.
There were also loads of other kids at the pool and I had loads of little chats with them that usually involved having something to do with Christmas.
Who knows? Maybe one day one of those kids will be the Prime Minister of Canada one day.
That's Really What I Can Really Think Of This Moment...
I don't have anything to add to this post and you probably won't see much more added to it anyways since it's like 11:20. Good for me. I can get some sleep.
I'm a 8 and a half today since my dad gave me homework. SERIOUSLY? It's the winter break and my dad is giving me homework while all my friends are on family getaways to Las Vegas or some place. Wow dad. It's okay though. It's just his way of saying, "I love you." Loads of people have different ways of showing their care and affection and maybe you've just got to learn how they show it.
"A child too, can never grasp the fact that the same mother who cooks so well, is so concerned about his cough, and helps so kindly with his homework, in the same circumstance has no more feelign than a wall of hidden inner world." - Alice Duer Miller
