No Post Yesterday, Basketball's In And More

Sorry About The Empty Space Where A Post Was Supposed To Be

Yesterday my brother was using the computer (one of the cons of letting him use it around 10:00PM...), so I wasn't able to put up a complete post. But I did try to put up something. Let me check to see what it was.

There we go. I just checked it and here's what I wanted to talk about yesterday along with the topics today. Hope you enjoy.

"Restarting Life"

Yesterday I was just sitting around thinking, thinking deep thoughts and it just so hit me. I wanted to... Like restart life. I will admit I've made quite a few stupid mistakes in my life that I could have easily avoided, but decided not to in order to maintain my own dignity. I now realize how stupid I was.

So what does this mean? Well. This means that I want to like, turn over a new leaf, whatever. Not like completely change my personality, but just think carefully. Think before doing and saying.

I need to clear up a few things in my life. I need to help a few friends out with things. There are a lot of things I need to restart in my life.

Ah. Basketball =D

Tomorrow morning will be the first basketball practice for the season. Can't wait. After losing in the zone qualification rounds (my team got last place out of four teams), I feel (and I'm pretty sure my team feels the same too) that we need to redeem our honour (we made the soccer) and get to the city finals for basketball.

This reminds me of a stupid mistake I made just recently. During the last day of play off volleyball, something happened. I dunno. It was the last game and I kind of already knew we were going to lose (but that fact didn't change what happened). So we were facing Thunderbird. Oh jeez. So here's what happened. My team had already called like two time outs and I was kind of getting pissed off at them. They kept on yelling a each other and I don't know how I managed to stay with them for two time outs. Then it happened. So the score is like 23 - 10 something. Begbie calls their THIRD time out and I'm like, "OH MY GOD...". So they just keep on yelling at each other and they were like saying, "NO, YOU GO OVER THERE. FOCUS!" and I don't get it. I mean, everybody was seriously trying their best. So I say, "Can we just get this over with?". And then the team glares at me and I'm said, "Let's just do the cheer, can't we stop yelling and just play?". The rest of the team starts getting mad at me and accusing me of giving up hope (totally not the truth, you play the game until the end) and they told me to leave and a few people actually shoved me out of the tiny circle we had formed. So what was I supposed to do?

I left. I just left the court and walked out of the gym. As I reach the end of the hallway, my team mates look outside the gym door and are like, "What are you doing? We didn't mean it!". Yah. I'm pretty sure that shoving me out of the tiny little circle is a joke. And then the Thunderbird coach (also the referee at that game) came out of the door and said, "Where are you going? Get back in there!". So I walked back in and played the rest of the game. I still cooperated with the team (not sure how I managed) and I ended up having a good time (I was going to anyways). So that's what happened. I made a huge mistake, but now somehow I feel better explaining it to people. I dunno, but if that experience did not separate my friends and I further apart, it definitely made us even closer, more understanding and careful of how they should treat friends and more knowledgeable.

Today I Made Apple And Blackberry Pie! =P

So my cousin's friend is back from the States and I'm happy. Today is his second day in Canada and we decided to made a nice chicken noodle soup and apple and blackberry pie with ice cream for dinner. It was really good. We helped prepare the food and the chicken soup was good, but I loved the apple and blackberry pie that was served for desert. The ice cream really added a cool touch to the desert and I loved the whole thing.

My Dad Got Me A New Mouse

My old wireless mouse broke a while ago, so my dad bought me a new one. It's really cool and even works on glass. Thanks dad!

Well, I Gotta Go!
